A Historic Safari Home in the Lewa Conservancy
Lewa Conservancy, Kenya
Known as one of Kenya’s original safari lodges, you will find yourselves sighing with contentment when you stay at the enchanting Lewa Wilderness.
Set in the awe-inspiring Lewa Conservancy, this is one of the original family homes (and still is) of the Craig Family, who have ensured that the intimacy and warmth of the residence filters throughout every touch point of your stay.
The lodge boasts six thatched cottages that overlook Lewa’s Eastern Marania Valley. Each has a unique layout and offers a lovely ensuite bathroom, a cozy sitting area, and private veranda. Additionally, there are three garden cottages, which are perfect for families or small groups. These are set amongst brilliant green lawns and consist of two ensuite bedrooms, which are joined by a comfortable sitting area with a fireplace and a bar.
The heart of the lodge is the sitting room that is filled with an extensive library of books, and is also where delicious afternoon teas are served. Mouth-watering, farm to table meals are served in the open-air dining room. Additional guest areas include a sparkling swimming pool, a tennis court, and a bush gym.
