A Front Row Safari on the Banks of the Zambezi
Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
A safari in Zimbabwe would not be complete without time in Mana Pools National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic riverine wilderness areas. Set along the banks of the Zambezi River, Wilderness Ruckomechi offers exceptional access to this UNESCO World Heritage Site and its famed floodplains.
One of the defining features of the camp is the elephant activity around the albida trees that surround it. During the dry season, elephants are frequently seen moving between the suites, main area and pool, calmly feeding on fallen pods. It is a uniquely Mana Pools experience.
The camp offers 10 spacious tented suites, including two family suites, all designed to blend into the surrounding riverine forest. Each suite features a comfortable sitting area, ensuite bathroom and private deck overlooking the wilderness. Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable, with generous menus and memorable bush breakfasts, including the much-loved pancake mornings in camp.
