As the only lodge located within Kibale National Park, Primate Lodge offers unrivalled proximity to Uganda’s most celebrated chimpanzee habitat. Kibale is home to more than 13 species of primates, including one of Africa’s largest chimpanzee populations.
What stood out most for us, beyond the location, was the warm and genuine local hospitality. The lodge feels relaxed, immersive and deeply connected to the forest environment.
Nine spacious Luxury Cottages provide bright and comfortable accommodation, each featuring a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, sitting area and private veranda overlooking the rainforest. For couples or special occasions, the Honeymoon Cottage offers added privacy.
Dining is served on a generous terrace surrounded by forest, with a well-stocked bar, library, massage treatments and evenings spent around a communal campfire completing the experience.
