Set beneath a riverine forest and overlooking the sandy riverbed of the Timbavati River, the camp offers a tranquil and immersive safari experience with a strong focus on privacy and wildlife.
The camp features just nine spacious tented suites, each raised on wooden platforms and thoughtfully designed to blend into the surrounding trees. Suites include ensuite bathrooms, overhead fans, air conditioning, outdoor showers, electric blankets for cooler winter evenings and private decks that invite quiet moments between game drives. This intimate layout makes Ngala Tented Camp particularly popular with honeymooners and couples.
Shared areas overlook the seasonal river and include a lap pool that doubles as an excellent wildlife-viewing spot. Guests can unwind with a massage in the open-air sala or enjoy beautifully prepared Pan-African cuisine served on viewing decks, poolside or beneath the trees on the lawn.

Ngala Tented Camp is located within the andBeyond Ngala concession, which shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park. Wildlife moves freely between the two areas, creating excellent game viewing that includes the Big Five, wild dog and a rich diversity of birdlife. The concession is also known for sightings of rare white lions, among the few documented individuals living freely in the wild.
