Set within the wild and expansive landscapes of Kenya’s Laikipia Plateau, Elewana Loisaba Star Beds offers one of the most memorable safari experiences in East Africa. This unique concept allows guests to sleep outdoors beneath a vast African night sky while still enjoying the comfort and privacy of a luxury lodge setting.
Each Star Bed suite is positioned on a rocky outcrop overlooking the undulating plains and a nearby watering hole. The suites are partially thatched and feature a large raised wooden platform with a handcrafted four poster bed. Each evening, weather permitting, the beds are rolled out into the open air, offering uninterrupted views of the stars and the soft colors of sunrise the following morning.
The suites also include a sitting area, wardrobe and safe, along with a private ensuite bathroom fitted with a shower, flush toilet and vanity. Guests share access to welcoming communal areas, including a cozy lounge with a log burning fire, a shared dining area and options for private dining.
