Set amidst the large granite boulders and kopjes (small hilly outcrops) of the Wogakuria Hills in the northern Serengeti, are some of our favorite glass-fronted tented suites. We love the privacy and luxury of Lemala Kuria Hills as well as its close proximity to the famous Mara River, which is on the border of Kenya’s Masai Mara.

After embarking on twice-daily, wildlife-filled game drives, rest your head in an elegant and contemporary suite that features a super-king size bed and beautiful ensuite bathroom. We like to spend our offtime lounging on the main sundeck and cooling off in the sparkling pool, where we can also take in the vast views of the iconic grasslands of the Serengeti.

Why We Love It:

The lodge’s close proximity to the Mara River, on the Serengeti’s border with Kenya’s Masai Mara, means that it is also within the main corridor of the world-famous wildebeest migration between July and October. ​
