Tranquil, soothing and inviting, one of our favorite Singita hideaways in the Serengeti-ecosystem

Singita Faru Faru Lodge

Grumeti Private Game Reserve, Tanzania

A truly authentic Serengeti sanctuary, Singita’s Faru Faru Lodge is a great choice for those seeking to reconnect with nature. Ideally situated alongside the Grumeti River, this lodge invites continuous connections with its breathtaking surroundings.

One of our most loved features of the lodge are the oversized windows that afford exceptional wilderness views. The spacious ensuite rooms are impeccably furnished to ensure you unwind amidst all the creature comforts you could hope for. In between the day’s adventures, we recommend spending some time in the main guest area. Be sure to head to the cafe-style bar at the heart of the lodge and grab an ice-cold G&T before heading to the pool area.

Amenities and Activities:

ROOMS: 9 suites

BEST FOR: honeymooners, couples and private groups

ACTIVITIES:

  • Enjoy a community excursion

  • Game drives

  • Guided Safari walks

  • Wine experiences

  • Ballon safaris

Why We Love It:

The lodge is set in front of a busy waterhole, which means you don’t even have to leave the comforts of your surrounds for a spot of wildlife viewing. Be sure to visit the anti-poaching observation post for stunning views of the landscape around the lodge. The lodge is also in 350,000 acres of protected wilderness in the private Singita Grumeti Reserve, which forms part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. This means you have front row seats to incredible wildlife viewing as well as the opportunity to witness the Great Migration (in season) without the crowds.
