A Refined Riverfront Safari in Mana Pools
Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
Tucked away on a private concession within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mana Pools National Park, at the meeting of the mighty Zambezi and Sapi Rivers, lies the luxurious Wilderness Chikwenya.
This camp operates from April to November, taking advantage of the prime dry season wildlife viewing in this remote eastern section of Mana Pools.
Here, just seven tented suites await. Spacious and elegant in light shades of white, cream and beige, guests can unwind on plush beds, cool off in their private plunge pools, and enjoy a range of thoughtful luxury amenities. The lodge also offers a private family suite, making it well suited to couples and families alike.
We love the warm and inviting atmosphere of this lodge, as well as the locally inspired menus prepared over open coals, and the seamless blend of river and land based safari activities.
