Josie grew up in London, England. As a child she loved nature, animals, travel and sports. As she got older a growing interest in conservation led her to head off to Nottingham University to study Animal Science. After her studies, Josie took a month-long trip to the Kruger National Park, where she really fell in love with the stunning wildlife and rich culture of Africa. She moved to South Africa at only 22 years old and never looked back! 

She spent many wonderful years working in Game Reserves across South Africa and it really gave her a passion for hospitality and travel! And it was here where her paths crossed with Kyle, Leah, and the Ubuntu Travel team. Having been in many different roles on the ground at the lodges, it has given Josie a unique insight into the travel industry.
