Josie grew up in London, England, and from a young age, she loved nature, animals, travel, and sports. As she got older, a growing interest in conservation led her to study Animal Science at the University of Nottingham. After completing her studies, Josie took a month-long trip to Kruger National Park, where she fell in love with Africa’s stunning wildlife and rich culture. At just 22 years old, she moved to South Africa - and never looked back.
She spent many wonderful years working on game reserves across South Africa, where her passion for hospitality and travel truly flourished. It was during this time that her path crossed with Kyle, Leah, and the Ubuntu Travel team. Having experienced many different roles at lodges on the ground, Josie brings a unique and insightful perspective to the travel industry and the safari experiences Ubuntu Travel creates.
