African Bush Camps Atzaró Okavango is one of the most remote and exclusive retreats in the Okavango Delta. The camp sits among lush palm islands and dense Delta vegetation, and it is accessible only by helicopter. This level of isolation creates a peaceful and private safari experience in the heart of a World Heritage wilderness.
Wildlife viewing is superb. Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo and hippos move through the floodplains throughout the year. The surrounding landscapes offer a mix of open water, river channels and wooded islands that attract a rich variety of species.
We love how the camp blends naturally with its environment. The design is warm and contemporary, with local cultural influences woven throughout. Each spacious tented suite features dark wood accents, blue tones inspired by the Delta waters and beautiful decorative details. Suites include a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, a private deck with sitting areas, an outdoor bath and shower, a plunge pool, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.
