A delightful, adventure-filled camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta, you’ll be thrilled (as were we) with the wonderful combination of land and water activities available. Wilderness Jao is surrounded by riverine forests and floodplains which means, depending on the season, you will either be boating in upon arrival or being welcomed from the comforts of a safari 4×4 game vehicle. 

For us, it’s really the unconventional safari interiors that’s the main drawcard of this camp  – a tasteful mix of wood, metal and glass, intermingled with natural and recycled materials and enhanced with traditional safari elements or pieces that pay homage to the region. All in all – rich, warm, airy and inviting. You will also appreciate the exclusivity of the camp, with just five suites and two villas to choose from – each option spacious and luxurious in its offering.
