With a background in the information technology industry, Jenna has always assumed roles that focused on promoting the best customer experience possible, while also emphasizing process improvement and operational support of an organization. Jenna was first exposed to Africa and African travel in working with Leah at another job, who would relay spectacular stories of her travels to the continent and all the ways they sought to make their customers’ visions and dreams come true. Coming on board as a formal part of the Ubuntu Team then seemed a natural transition for Jenna, who has since embraced the role of Director of Operations and continues contributing to her own travel bucket list. 

Having grown up in a small/rural farm town, Jenna has loved animals all her life and is particularly passionate about the Ubuntu Team’s conservation efforts. Having explored Tanzania and Kenya, Jenna has been captivated by the allure of the Serengeti and Masai Mara and the thrill of the Great Migration, thus fueling her excitement and commitment to preparing clients for their adventure of a lifetime. Another exploration led Jenna to Rwanda, where she embarked on some unforgettable treks through the national forest. The journey brought her face-to-face with the majestic mountain gorillas, a moment of profound connection with nature. Jenna emphasizes that this experience not only provides a unique opportunity to witness the delicate balance between humanity and wildlife but is also a must-add to your bucket list!
